With the every increasing cost of living, and the worrying times ahead we are all facing as a collective, we decided to try and help the best way we can, with what we have.

Our ovens in the bakery are on daily baking our bread and all the excess heat from the ovens rise into the room above the kitchen (the lounge area in the academy), so we thoughts why not make this lounge area into a free warm space, where EVERYONE is welcome, can come and sit in the warm for a few hours, enjoy a free tea, coffee,  comfy chair,  and perhaps chat to others who are doing the same. 

 

The Warm Lounge as we call it, will be open every week day from 15th September 10.00am - 5.00pm, and everyone is welcome.

 

YOU DO NOT NEED A TICKET TO VISIT THE WARM LOUNGE, PAYING AN AMOUNT OF YOUR CHOICE FOR A TICKET IS THE WAY TO DONATE.

The response since we posted this on social media has just been phenomenal, with so many kind messages and post comments, its really been truly amazing, and we thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts.  We are working our way through messages, and one thing we are being repeatedly asked is how can I make a donation - hence we have set up this page.
